Yang Eu Jin has covered a wide spectrum of corporate work, including corporate banking, bank mergers, project financing, corporate finance and securities, private equity, fund management, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate restructurings in his practice.

He specialises in corporate finance and capital markets work. His clients have included local and foreign banks, financial institutions and multinational corporations, as well as local and foreign enterprises which have sought or are seeking listings on the Singapore Exchange.

Experience

  • Acted for a leading global integrated supply chain manager of agricultural products and food ingredients in its S$233 million Initial Public Offering and listing on the Main Board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited which gave the company a market capitalization of approximately S$929 million, making it one of the 50 largest companies in Singapore.
  • Acted as the legal adviser to a company listed on the SGX-SESDAQ and formerly involved in the operation of a PRC-based sports production television company and a motorsports racing company, in the S$36 million reverse-takeover by a Singapore-based regional logistics service provider specializing in the provision of machinery and equipment relocation solutions.
  • Acted as solicitors to the manager, underwriter and placement agent in the listing on the Main Board of the SGX-ST of a leading PRC pharmaceutical company engaged in the research and development, production as well as sales and marketing of cardiocerebral vascular and non-cardiocerebral vascular drugs. The IPO raised approximately S$51.6 million.
  • Acted for a listed company in Singapore in its acquisition of Lereno Sdn Bhd, which resulted in a change in their business from mechanical and electrical works to biofuels.
  • Acted for one of the leading civil engineering firms in the world in its acquisition of a mechanical engineering consulting business in Singapore.

Publications and lecturing engagements

Eu Jin was appointed to contribute a chapter on Singapore law to Spitz & Clarke: Offshore Service by leading legal publisher Butterworths Tolley.
